Will Careri is an award-winning public relations specialist with an additional certification in Intellectual Property Law for Inventors, Entrepreneurs and Creators from The Michaelson 20MM Foundation. A freelancer for more than 50 companies and organizations across the United States, Will has worked with brands like Microsoft Education, Nonprofit.Courses, Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps and Micro Marching League.
Will helps brands build and manage their message to better tell and share their own story with the public. William’s specialties include brand strategy, graphic design, web development and client relations. One of his current roles include acting as marketing manager for Waylan Consulting Group, a B2B SaaS lead generation company for computer and robotic software developers.
Will was recognized at the 2019 Public Relations Student Society of America International Conference as the recipient of the Axia Public Relations Award, an award given to an outstanding public relations student from across the United States.
During his time at Temple University, after transferring from Northampton Community College with a degree in communication studies, Will had been active in numerous organizations and departments. Most notably, he was an assistant firm director at PRowl Public Relations, Temple’s student-run public relations firm, working with nonprofit clients as well as Temple internal departments. He also worked within the Klein College Career Center, assisting students with resumes and job searches while designing all marketing and promotional materials.
Will currently lives in North Philadelphia where he spends his free time speaking for the advocacy of mental health, a showcase of this being his TEDx talk “The Importance of Sharing Your Story,” presented on April 19, 2019.
