Will Careri is an award-winning and internationally-operating public relations specialist with certifications from Google, HubSpot and Harvard University. Having worked with more than 85 companies and organizations across North America, Australia and Europe, Will primarily works with brands in the technology, education and nonprofit industries.
Currently the Communications Manager for Councilwoman Cindy Bass in the City of Philadelphia, Will also continues to work with nonprofits and other brands all over the world.
Will was recognized at the 2019 Public Relations Student Society of America International Conference as the recipient of the Axia Public Relations Award, an award given to an outstanding public relations student from across the United States. In 2020, Will was also the recipient of the Neue Marketing’s “Best B2B Digital Marketing Campaign” Award.
During his time at Temple University, after transferring from Northampton Community College with a degree in communication studies, Will had been active in numerous organizations and departments. Most notably, he was an assistant firm director at PRowl Public Relations, Temple’s student-run public relations firm, working with nonprofit clients as well as Temple internal departments. He also worked within the Klein College Career Center, assisting students with resumes and job searches while designing all marketing and promotional materials.
Will currently lives in North Philadelphia where he spends his free time speaking for the advocacy of mental health, a showcase of this being his TEDx talk “The Importance of Sharing Your Story,” presented on April 19, 2019.
