As we see an increase in Software-As-A-Service companies start up, we will continue to see marketing firms and consultants market themselves to this niche. Waylan Consulting Group needed a new look which is as professional and sophisticated as their strategies. They needed a minimal and modern look to set them apart from their competitors and appear the premiere option for potential clients.
I was tasked with developing the organization's branding, including the logo, color palette and typography along with a website and key marketing collateral. While I served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Growth Consultant, the work in this case study reflects work I did while an independent contractor.
The logo is typography-based with a mirrored icon, which also acts as the simplified form.
The website was designed for dark-mode use using Waylan's grey color palette and Waylan Red as an accent color. The site was meant to be used as their portal for case studies, highlighting achievements and onboarding new clients.
I produced a number of documents and letterhead for Waylan, including their annual reports, strategy plans for clients and instructional resources.
